Very gorgeous tone of the one i played. It had been set up professionally and had Elixir strings. Just has that nice midrange you expect from a Martin D-28 but perhaps a bit more bass and is slightly-ever so slightly, in a good way- brighter.Or perhaps more present would be applicable. All solid wood, get one on clearance and get the best buy you'll ever see. Awesome guitar, even at full price- still much cheaper than any all solid wood Martin or Taylor. And as good or better. What could beat that?
