This is a re-issue of a 60s model, although there are some modifications from the original headstock and vibrato that are borrowed from the Jet models. It is a very slim guitar that is rather small, comfortable and easy to play (the neck is just the right width for me). You'd never guess with its light weight that the guitar is all mahogany. The humbucker pickups shine on this guitar, bright and clear; they sound great through both my Fender tube amp and solid-state. The vibrato is a solid Bigsby model that functions fine if you know how to use it, The tuners are rather cheap (I have replaced mine), but I love the classic "G" knobs. My least favorite part of this guitar? The printed "Gretsch" name on headstock --why not pearloid inlay? Over all, a lot of fun to play, and eye-catching as well.

Bought this guitar a few months ago. Finish is very good, strings..change them, pick-ups adequate but could be better. Overall I enjoy playing this guitar but would not recommend it to anyone. Intonation is a problem for sure and the neck is not very comfortable compared to my 5 other guitars. You get what you pay for.
