I just picked up one of these..Had to after playing it for awhile, and then plugging it in.The workmanship is quite good for the price.I actually prefer it's feel to the more expensive Gretsch's...It's a little bit cardboardy sounding acoustically - like all Gretsch'sbut it has terrific action, excellent factory set-up, and a very true, in-tune neck.The pick-ups sound good also - especially on the bridge......very sweet and round tone.I even like the color (mine's red, w/ black sides and back)No case included - must order separately...All in all - I think it's a winner...good bang for the buck...ciao, Kenny
