This unit is really amazing. I was, as expected, skeptical! It was cheap by comparison to other power source devices, so I ordered one. I have put over 100 hours on this unit with several gigs and band practices, powering a board with the following 1. Rocktron Hush pedal 2. Peterson strobe stomp tuner 3. Boss DS-1 distortion 4. Boss OD-2R over-drive 5. Morley Little Alligator volume pedal*** and I have had NO problems with the unit and it never gets hot. I am going to buy a few more, one for another board and a spare. I'm sold!! The ONLY thing I wish is that they would have put the unit at the end of the chord line instead of at the receptacle end, but that is just small stuff overall!!!!
This little item rocks! Imagine being able to power 20 devices from a tiny inexpensive unit like this. It comes with a nice assortment of connectors that allowed me to power an Ibanez delay, a Boss distortion, and an old Rat distortion. It even has a battery clip adapter that allowed me to add 9v power to my Vox vintage wah-wah (of course I had to cut a small slot in the base of the Vox to allow for the pigtail adaptor but that's a small concession considering that the wah eats through batteries and it's not fun removing four screws in a dark nightclub to replace them.
