I have had my Gibson Elvis Presley Dove for three years now, buying it brand new. It has all the traditional "Dove" sound, being all solid spruce and maple. The price of the Presley Dove, is normally lower than the other Dove models, and though I'm not a fan of all black finished acoustics, this was the best buy for me in owning a Dove. The workmanship and finish was the best, in an all black guitar. The factory care in set up was right on. It's a pleasing guitar to play softly, or loudly. It accomplishes everything you will want to do with it. I play it acoustically, no installed electronics. The tone honestly turns the heads of my fellow acoustic guitar friends, when they hear it. That traditional Gibson sound all it's own.
