This piccolo produces amazing sound. Its perfect for concert and marching band!
This piccolo is definitely a bargain. I played it all through out high school and even in college. It has a very clear tone and is not shrill. This piccolo has excellent projection due to the silver headjoint. This piccolo has not broken once in the ten years that I have had it. My only complaint is that the upper notes (the ones that no one wants to hear) like the third octave B, B sharp, and C are rather hit and miss. With this piccolo you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck.
I've had this piccolo for three years now and it has withstood everything and has only needed very minor adjustments. It has been a great piccolo to learn on and has great projection for marching and pep band. I have a friend who has a 4P and we have found that the two piccolos (being of the same brand) are fairly easy to tune to each other. Overall, I find this piccolo to be easy to play and produces a great sound. Although it may be shrill for come concert band situations, it is perfect to learn on and to keep for marching band!
This piccolo is great the first time I got it (at this past x-mas)it still plays good and has not broke and is worth every dollar you spend. I played it first at pep band and it sounded great and its awesome for concert.
This piccolo is very nice and affordable. I've never had any problems with it except it doesn't come with a cleaning cloth. It has a very nice case that protects it very well, even if you drop it.
