This is an excellent piccolo. I have a metal piccolo, but I prefer this over the others. it has a wonderful projection, and a full sound. I work as a band sales person in a music store and this is the piccolo I recommend to all my customers.
This picc is wonderful! It really projects sound outside and has a wonderful tone for inside. I played on this piccolo in highschool and I was always in tune compared to the other players.(which is hard enough) Currently I play this picc in the concert band in college. I am upgrading to a 4w which is a wooden piccolo that sounds more warmer for concert band. I will always treasure this piccolo!
This is a very good brand for Piccolos. Great for Marching or Pep band.
I had purchased this piccolo almost a year ago, and it still is in perfect condition. It resists scratches, plays virtually in-tune all the time, and is great for concerts, solos, and parades. I recommend this entry-level piccolo to any and all students in need of a top-quality, low-cost piccolo, from a great band, which produces great sound!
I am a First Flute, and Piccolo, in the marching band, and I am the section leader. This piccolo hasn't broken yet and I have had it for 3 years so far. Very good quality, and I would recommend a metal head joint for the typical marching band player
