Taking in opinions from those around me and professionals, the 30SB (offset G, yes, its better if you were wondering) seemed the obvious choice. Beautiful, and play tested right out of the box, its hard NOT to take pride in this instrument. If you are a beginner with some extra cash, a player looking to advance, or a pro on a budget, buy this flute. Its a purchase you wont regret. And coupled with music123's amazing customer support, and timely delivery, what's not to love!
This flute is the best I have ever played. The tone is beautiful, the articulation is clearand accurate an the keys all flow. I would highly recommend purchasing this flute.
I am currently a highly advanced student at my age and have had my 3s since Christmas and find it to have a wonderful tone! I switched from a student Armstrong because I had the best skill on that flute I could and my 3s just brought out my tone beautifully... I also found that this flute required almost always no "pulling out" of the head joint and was in tune quite well as adjusted... the only problem is (as I've heard from several people about any Gemeinhardt) is the foot joint coming extremely loose not long after I got the flute. Other then that this flute has worked wonderfully for me and would be a great flute for any intermediate player looking to advance their skills!
The 3S Gemeinhardt is a WONDERFUL instrument. Not only the great name it carries as a Gemeinhardt, it just flows when you play. I can't keep myself away from it. It great as a step up from a student flute. Now I can really show my full potential in concert or at home! (NOT FOR MARCHING BAND!
This is my second flute. My family doesn't have much money, but I had to buy a new flute. This model isn't too expensive, but it sounds great. My tone quality improved immeadiately. My flute gets taken all over the place, and it never lets me down.
