Anyone can play the 2SP. Not only does it have an amazing tone quality, but it is also very durable. I have had the flute for 5 1/2 years. It has broken once. The first was a common problem with flutes. The foot joint started slipping off and that hapened within the first 6 monthes of having it. The tone quality as I said earlier is wonderful. I can play every note on the scale with ease. Unlike my cousin who has an Armstrong and can barely get up to a High F. Also the flute is very inexpensive.
The Gemeinhardt 2SP flute has been in my possession for almost four years. I highly recommend it to any and all beginning flute players. It's versatile enough to weather through many years of field show, concert, and marching/parades, but so well-balanced in a beginning flute that playing from low C (once under the staff) to high C (twice above the staff) is simple and clear. I will soon be upgrading to the Gemeinhardt Conservatory 3SB, but my 2SP will remain with me for the more strenuous performances.
I HAVE HAD MINE FOR OVER 12 YEARS AND BOUGHT IT USED NEVER HAD TO HAVE IT REPAIRED IT STILL HAS THE BEST SOUND
This is the best flute you'd lay hands on. It is cheap but it is of very good quality. Good tone, I have used it 4 8 years and it is still playin a 10! The air way is longer and smoother. Buy It Today!!!
I have just taken up flute as an extra instrument along with the saxophone. This flute was not only inexpensive, but it also had a great sound and quality to it!! Definitely a good choice if you are a beginner or starting it as a side instrument!!
