Generous padding, tough zippers, strong handles that are easy on the hands. Comes with a decent carry strap that can be slung over your shoulder too. The end compartment is made to hold a seat cushion for a round throne too. When I got mine, I was certain it wouldn't hold all of my gear (2 Tama roadpro straight stands, 2 Tama roadpro boom--one with counterweight, Iron Cobra Lever Glide hi-hat, 2 roadpro snare stands, roc-n-soc throne tripod, and assorted boom arms and accessories. With room to spare! I was shocked! If you are looking for an inexpensive bag and you only gig occasionally, like me, this is the ticket.

I bought 2 of these Gator bags!.......they are perfect for carrying the 2 sets of portable lighting systems we use at most of our smaller gigs.I use 1 bag per lighting "pod".Not only can the lighting fit nicely in this roomy bag but I can carry the light stand as well in it.Good job ,Gator!

strong exterior, looks really good on the outside but has no 30mm padding as stated. the interior lining is soft, but lacks the protection I was expecting...

Once again Gator came through with a great value bag. I bought the 14" x 36" bag. The construction has proved to be solid. The handle, zippers, and interior all pay attention to detail. I have grown to love soft bags (I also have a set for one of my drumsets) for playing the local bar scene. I use heavy duty hardware and stands and this bag houses them nicely. They protect my investments and compact easily after I set up. I can actually keep my bags behind me during a gig so after the show I have them right there to pack up.

I purchased this bag for my hardware. I was worried that it would not all fit in this bag, but it did. Three double braced boom stands, hi-hat and snare stands, tom holders, two short boom arms, clamps, and a throne. Granted, after it all fit in, I could barely carry the bag, but that's my problem.
