I have had my Gator GL Bass case for about a year now. I originally bought it because it fit my old P bass nicely. It now houses an Ibanez Soundgear and fits it pretty well too with some extra room at the headstock. There are lots of nooks and pockets to keep strings, tuners, sheet music, cables, stomp boxes, etc in. It is nice and light, and even after a year of getting thrown in the back of my truck, hauled to work, then practice, then back home, it is still in great shape. My only complaint is that the zipper gets caught on the keeper strap, and I have to watch the closure. Not a big deal though. All in all this is a great case, and will be buying yet another one for my next bass. These cases are well worth twice the money.

I purchased the case for a Warmoth Gecko bass. I really like the protection of a hard shell case but not the weight. I considered a gig bag but I just didn't think that it would provided enough protection for the instrument. The quality of the case is excellent. It's made very similar to my Roscoe soft cases at a fraction of the cost. How Gator can make this case and sell it at a price cheaper than a quality gig bag is beyond me! I highly recommend it.
