When I first started, the trombone I bought came with this case, but I thought nothing of it. One time on a marching band trip my trombone got knocked off of the back of our instrument truck onto the pavement. Of course I thought that my horn was done for, but fortunately the only damage done was a scratch on the case. When I sold my student horn to upgrade to a large bore horn in HS, I regretfully sold the case, but I will most definitely buy another.
I think that this is one of the best cases for trombones that I have ever seen. Mainly because it gives you a lot more room to put your essential cleaning accessories that you need to keep your trombone in a good condition. I also like the idea that it allows to store different size horns and not just one size. Most of the time you will buy a new case for your instrument and it will end up not fitting because the bore size is too big, or because your instrument is too long.
