The Goldline 500 was developed by Gallien-Krueger to compliment the look and tone of the GLX series bass enclosures. Gate-Induced Valve Effect, or G.I.V.E. technology, was developed by Bob Gallien in 1972 and is part of what gives GK its distinctive sound.
