Been playing for 10 years or so. Owned just about everything and this amp is definitely the best I've owned, played, and heard in the price range. You'd never know it was solidstate. Turn up the gain and you'll get a thunderous growl. Great for A-440 and drop tunings.
I love this amp head. This amp sounds really warm for a solid state amp and is superlight @ 19 pounds. You can find any bass sound you need with minimal tweaking. It has plenty of power for any midsized venue. I matched mine with a Neo 112 cab and it sounds incredible. This is the best Bass Head in this price range hands down. You will feel the quality of craftsmanship and materials used to build this amp as soon as you turn it on and turn a control knob. I am in love with this amp! It's amazing.The sound, the power, everything. It has a very clear sound which is great. It gives it those heavy low notes for metal yet those punchy high notes for slapping. This amp is so powerful, which is awesome. I love this amp!
