For the money this is Hands Down the best Bass Head in its Class. I have had this Beast for about 4 yrs now, using it everyday / with absolutely no issues. This head can go from the Beatles to TOOL and everything in between with minimal adjustments. Thunderous Power, I have mine paired with 2 SWR Goliath III 4 ohm Cabs and either my MM Stingray 4 or 5 / the sound will Blow u Away. The Contour and Presence knobs and a little tweaking of the Boost control for some added Grit are the key to dialing in the sound your looking for. Try everything else out there, and then buy this Head, you won't be Disappointed. (=

I've owned this head coupled with a 2x12 avatar and 4x10 avatar cab. Super loud, great hi-fi tone, and can get that deep down vintage sound when you need it. No tubes, no worries. Tons of power, variations of sound, and just straight out awesome.

I have owed this head now for about three months and I am pleased beyond words. It has amazing head room, clarity, tone shaping ability and unbelievable power. I am absolutely glad I made the choice I did and would recommend this head to anyone anywhere anytime. It delivers!

I have played on this bass head and I can tell you it will give you what you ask for. The tone is awsome the bite is incredible, it is better than Carvin or Fender anyday, two of my friends uses this bass head on te SWR Golith 8-10 speakers. What I like is the manuel crossover for the tweeter and woofer gives me the chance to shape anyway I like it, I also like the 700RB-III for smaller gigs, right now I'm using the 400RB-III combo 210 240 watt system for rehersals and real small places. I would advise any bass player to invest with any of the Gallien-Krueger RB series.

I have had this amp now for about 1/2 year now and have had no problems with it. I used it in the studio for recording my bands demo. I use an active Ibanez bass and a precision p bass. Plenty of power for multiple cabs. I use GK 1X15 and an SWR 4x10 and it powers them with ease. Comes complete with racking hardware and the biamped speakon cable which I use on my GK 15". Great amp for large stages and overall great value and price.
