"Best capo I've ever used...PERIOD" by Miles
12/14/2004 9:23:48 AM
Musical Experience: Professional guitarist
Style of Music: all kinds
Hometown: Boston, MA
This is, by far, the best capo I have ever used. I did not have to re-tune my guitar upon application. It engages with ease, it's durable, and looks great. It may be a little more than your average capo, but it's worth it!

"fragile capo" by Mars

It's a great capo feeling solid and firm. A pity though that I dropped it only once and the release knob which is made out of plastic immediately broke. The price is way too high actually.

"Great product, high price" by Bastiaan Nijbroek

Musical Experience: home-player, live experience
Style of Music: Acoustic pop

The G7th Capo is an excellent product. Great for live performances and home playing. I bought the capo, because mine was broke and I dont regret it. It is very easy to use and works better than any other capo. The only negative side is the price.

I bought this product after reading the reviews and all I can say is that is a reliable, solid and a must have. I'm glad I didn't go for a cheap one. This thing has a sexy look and I'm a happy owner!

"LOVE IT!" by J McMaster

By far the best capo I have used. (and I have tried a lot!) The mechanism inside this thing is EXTREMELY sensitive and accurate. There is absolutely NO "play". When you lock it into position, it STAYS there. I'm not really sure how they are doing this (I thought that it might be some kind of super fine ratchet system, but the degree of adjustment is so precise, that I don't think that is how they are doing it). Anyway, I don't really care HOW it's done! A little pricey, but like a good pen, or an expensive pair of sunglasses, I always seem to remember where this thing is, as I would hate to lose it! Unlike the other reviewer, I did not have a problem with my 12 string, but I used VERY light strings on my 12 string (a Takamine). Also, I read on a message board that G 7th will be coming out with a model specifically for 12 string users some time in the future.
