A good solid stand at a great price. Looks good, and I feel comfortable with electric or acoustic guitars resting on it. I don't know how it would hold up on stage/tour, but for home use this is a good bet.

I have a dozen of the cheaper stands, and they work OK for basses and guitars. But I needed something for my ouds, which are like lutes and bouzoukis: they have a very deep rounded back. These are the only stands that provide the clearance. In addition I discovered how much better balanced and well-made these are, a little heavier to carry, but much sturdier. Well worth the few extra dollars. Excellent.

this stand is great. my guitars used to just sit around in cases on the floor and weren't really readily available. with this stand i can pick them up any time i want and play. they come with a strap to secure the neck. it doesnt strap it down, but more just to stop it from falling. my only problem is that the adjustable neck support can barely reach up to support a full size accousic neck.

You couldn't ask for more, with such a stand as this. Time after time having to replace such an important piece of equipment, is not fun for anyone. Especially when it's taken to the level of holding your guitiar. Don't take any chances, this stand will leave you with the comfort of withstanding your needs. It's not a chance it's a positive.
