Very recently we purchased the Florea Primo violin case to replace the (very!) old case that she inherited along with my old violin. The Primo case is SUPER light-weight and has the "back pack" straps to make carrying it home easy! The Primo case has good sized storage compartments and I really like the velcro neck-strap that secures the violin inside the case -- great for forgetful 5th graders who may or may not latch the case closed. I was disappointed that the case was on back order for several weeks -- but it was worth the wait. It is a great value.

This is just what I needed for my antique 3/4 violin. The fit was a little tight(due to my unusual violin), but the construction was such that we could press the form out to custom fit. There is a nice full length music pocket on the top with a good zipper. The inside is good too, with plenty of space for extras.

"Cost effective"

I have a number of violins and a few were without a case. Perhaps a violin should sit out in the open, I don't know. But at my house they need protection and this was a very cost effective way to do it. And a nice case for the money. I will buy more when the need arises.

I am a string instrument instructor/chamber orchestra conductor and always looking for ways to help my students save on their purchases. The case is sturdy enough for a responsible adult to handle. However, I would not recommend this case for youths especially as the zipper is somewhat flimsy and will probaby break if handled roughly. Also, one of the bow holders snaped when I turned it. I will probably recommend this case to my adult students who are on a budget as the case is quite adequate considering the cost.

"Excellent case"

This case is a great value for the money. I purchased this case to protect a violin that was hand-made by my uncle many years ago. The inside is soft and well padded. I don't know much about violins, but I'm sure that spending 75 or 80 dollars for a case is unnecessary and a waste of money. This case does it all. It is perfect. Thanks to Music123 for fast delivery, too.

"Great case"

We had expected to pay much more for a decent quality case for our sons. We got them each one of the Florea Primo cases, and they are perfect for their needs. We especially like the side zipper pouch to carry their music and other things. Great price and quality. Our older son (age 16) said the only thing he would improve is the balance of the case when carrying by the straps - but overall he says it was much better than he would have expected.
