This neck mounting method provides a better connection and overall tone transfer to the guitar body.

"Awesome Guitar, difficult to play"

I have always been a huge Yngwie fan and dreamed of owning one of his signiture strats. When I was finally able to afford it, I purchased a candy apple red with rosewood fretboard. It looks amazing! It was VERY hard for me to get used to the scalloped board. I've owned guitars with XJ frets, but this was much more difficult for me to play. After a few months it bacame easiier for me, but I still press too hard on some strings while fretting cords. I would recomend trying one out before you buy it, because you might have the same difficulties. I don't regret buying the guitar, but I'm not sure I would have bought one had I played it first.
