Just as high quality as the Schallers on some of my other guitars.

This is a great strap lock. It would take a hurricane to knock your strap off. But when you want to take it off, it is very easy. To sum it up, simple but effective.
These are Schaller straplocks in a Fender bag. The folks at Fender started including Schaller straplock buttons as original equipment on their American guitars back in the 90's. Now you can buy the same high quality from your Fender dealer. The Schaller design is superior to others in that you must pull a bolt to release the mechanism, unlike the push button mechanism on other straplock that can lead to accidental droppage if you own an SG or other guitar with a back of the neck strapbutton. I have seen it happen. The horshoe shaped strap cradle also prevents accidental release. It may seem ok to use a guitar without straplocks, but if you consider the investment you have in the guitar, it's only sensible to spend the money to protect your beloved instrument. Neck repairs are not cheap, and guitars are rarely as good after, not to mention tha inconvenience of being without it while it's being repaired. If you look around you, you'll notice what straplocks the pros are using, and which brand. Fender(Schaller) is it.
