Just got a CAR MIM standard tele a few days ago and I am very happy with it. the build quality is excellent, the fretwork is great, the weight is awesome (6.8 lbs.) and the overall tone is incredible. I always prefered Alnico III pups but these new hot ones are pretty versatile. Nut was cut corect, neck pocket was tight, paint was flawless. Overall a great guitar for the money. All I changed was the bridge plate to a vintage style with brass compensated saddles for a little more sustain and twang.
