Fender Standard Precision BassIt was the first Fender bass and it's still #1! Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard. The low price makes it especially attractive. The addition of a gig bag as well as some nice detail refinements make this bass the "standard" by which others are judged.

It's time to move up from the Ibanez Jumpstart so I went to the local store to purchase the Ibanez I new I wanted. Just before making the purchase, I decided to pick up this MIM Fender and give it a play. I had read mixed reviews about the MIM Fenders so I didn't know what to expect. Well, as soon as I played it, I was hooked. The feel and tone was amazing and the playability surprised me after using the slender-necked Ibanez for so long. I didn't buy the Ibanez I went in after. Instead, I'm going to save up the additional hundred bucks so I can buy this Fender P. I'm in love with it. Man, am I glad I didn't pick up the $1,000.00 MIA Fender!
I love this guitar. I "had" one, but after our last gig...lets just say I freaked out on it.. I had it in the chrome red color, like Mikey Way's from My Chemical Romance. I would recommend this bass to people who want and need to play awesome music! ROCK ON!!!
i got this bass 2 years ago after i saved my own hard-worked money . I knew for a long time that i'm gonna get this one but it wasn't untill i got it that i found how amazing this bass is. If you play with a pick , like i do , the punch of this bass is exactly what you're looking for , spicy and crunchy sound just as it should be. To top it I managed to buy the SPB-3 Quarter Pound for P-Bass pickups and switched with those that came with the guitar and it doubled my enjoyment ... it's just can't get any better i swear. The sound became more powerful than ever . So to sum it all , just get this one and i promise you won't regret it ! Enjoy
