this guitar is pretty great 1. its a great unbeatable price 2. it comes with everything you will need 3. it comes in a variety of great colors 4. the amp is nice pretty decent 5. it has a whammy bar 6. the guitar had great sound and the tone is nice I LOVE IT ( ive been playing for around a year now im considered a beginner/advanced )

This was a gift for my son. He has been playing piano for 2 years and really wanted to play guitar as well. I suprised him with the Strat pack and the look on his face was amazing, his mouth literally dropped open! He has been playing every single day and is learning power chords from his dad! Making your son feel like a rockstar? Priceless.

ive had the package for about a year now, and the guitar has held up excellently. the amp is a little less to be desired. the overdrive chanel is fuzzy if you turn it up. the clean isnt bad. the instructional dvd is a really good learning tool.

Let me start by saying that I have been playing guitar for about 35 years. I have had some nice Strats - always to have them stolen (go figure). I have wanted another one for a while and now my son wanted one to get started with, so I went for this Squier. I spent about 4 hours re-stringing it with EXL110's (stock strings are too light). which led to saddle height and tailpiece-spring tension adjustment, but in the end, the guitar plays very well and sounds good which is all that matters. For the price it smokes Gibson or Epiphone beginner packs. Couldn't be happier.

I bought this guitar about a year ago and i havent had a problem with it. some people say that the overdrive channel is fuzzy but my amp is great. i plan on buying a new pickguard (the pickguard is great i just had my fav band sign it so im framing it) and pickup covers (the pickup covers are great too they just dont go with the theme of my guitar) and new volume and tone knobs. everything is great on this guitar im just adding my own style to it...
