Seeking an Ampeg sound but can't afford an Ampeg? The Fender Rumble line is your answer. I am a guitarist and just picked up bass. I played the Hartke B series amps, Ampegs, SWR LA series, and a Peavey Basic 12 when shopping for an amp. I like the Ampeg's low bass, the other brands were treblier, however I couldn't afford the Ampeg. I saw the low price tag on the Fender so I tried it out, and I was amazed at how good it sounded. Fender isn't known for making bass amps, but I think they know how to do better than some more established bass amp brands. The LED lights are sort of corny. If they didn't pulsate to the beat they would be cooler. The amp stays clean even at 10 and the eq is great. You can get many sounds from it and it seems to be built like a tank. This amp is the best bang for the buck out there.
