This system works great as a vocal range PA for smaller club gigs, but you really want the 250 to top drums. (Figure the 250 is 125 watts per channel so it is strong enough to compete with a 100 watt guitar amp). Also very good for ambient music at events from secondary source such as iPod, PC, tape deck, etc.It's a mistake to use it for lower range mixing like full range keyboards or miked drums. It doesn't handle the low end.
I've used it for big shows and always find it fits the bill. No problems here.
