I wanted an small portable amp to go busking with. At first I intended to make one, but I bit the bullet. The first one I tried was the Fender Mini Deluxe, and it had a great clean sound, but the drive sounds were muddy, and intermodulation was too bad for a couple of simple chords. Next I tried the Marshall MS-2, and it had a better crunch sound than the MD, but the clean sounds were just too quiet. Then I tried the Fender mini-tone master, and it just blew me away. The crunch settings are great, albeit a little fuzzy, but better than the other two, and the clean sounds were clearer and louder, and avoided the tinny sound from the small speakers the other two suffered from.I plan to go busking very soon, and I'm glad I've got this amp to play through. A true rocker!
