This amp is one of the best I've ever played! I bought this amp not expecting much from it, but it was really awesome. The clean channel is a beauty and you can really get some great hearty sounds out of it. While the distortion isn't that great it isn't bad either. Attention metal heads, this is not the amp for you. If you want mini distortion, check out the Marshall mini amp). the individual gain knob is nice and the retro vibe is kicking. It runs on a nine volt battery and has a pretty good batt. life. good for earphone playing. Basically, this amp is a really good overall practice jamming amp. I highly recommend it.

It cost me a tiny amount, so I just blasted my feedback through it and did whatever I could to destroy the sound, and now I can turn the gain all the way up, the volume all the way up too, and it's perfect. When you hook up a distortion pedal to THAT, and some reverb too for real noise value, it's hard not to love. But even alone I've turned it into a feedback machine. I named it Clank after a Flying Luttenbachers song.

I bought the amp because I needed something small and portable that runs on batteries so I could bring it around with me. Getting the Fender Mini Tone amp was the best choice! I wasn't expecting this amp to be as loud as it is! It has two, 2 inch speakers in it. I only thought it had one, so this amp made me happy. This thing gets some really good tones too. If you are looking for a mini amp with some good distortion, get this one. I was expecting terrible distortion, but this amp totally blew me away with volume, tone, and distortion. If you need an amp to carry around or need something to play your guitar with at night, get this amp. It's better than the other Fender mini amps!

I wanted an small portable amp to go busking with. At first I intended to make one, but I bit the bullet. The first one I tried was the Fender Mini Deluxe, and it had a great clean sound, but the drive sounds were muddy, and intermodulation was too bad for a couple of simple chords. Next I tried the Marshall MS-2, and it had a better crunch sound than the MD, but the clean sounds were just too quiet. Then I tried the Fender mini-tone master, and it just blew me away. The crunch settings are great, albeit a little fuzzy, but better than the other two, and the clean sounds were clearer and louder, and avoided the tinny sound from the small speakers the other two suffered from.I plan to go busking very soon, and I'm glad I've got this amp to play through. A true rocker!
