This bass is awesome.
I've owned 4 Jazz basses over the years - a '65, a '72, a '75, and now this Highway One. Soundwise, I'd put my Highway One up against any one of the older ones. It plays like a dream, and - thanks to the graphite rods in the neck - it DOESN'T have a dead spot in the neck. I love the upgraded bridge. I love the satin nitro finish - it doesn't look all plasticky like the '70s models. Pick one up and play it - I think Fender has hit one out of the park with the Highway One models!
This is the greatest bass of all time. Buy it.
