This electric violin sounds great with a good amp but pretty badly when played acoustically. I feel that the Fender is a better value than any other brand. This is a reliable instrument and I love it more than my 3 other Yamahas. Definitely a good choice for someone starting out or looking for a good value.
I have now been playing this violin for 2 years, Its robust and still sounds good, and I enjoy the feel of the instrument.
I received this instrument for my birthday and it is wonderful. The sound is very good. It is a quality instrument. I also like the way it looks.
The Fender fv1 was the first violin I owned. I think the tone and feel of this instrument is great for the price. If you are planning to play it without an amp I would not reccomend it as it doesn't sound too hot acoustically. Otherwise ,this is a very good buy. I would plan on buying a new bow with it.
