Buying standard old cloth and leather straps I was happy to find this Fender Vintage that so many musicians used mainly because it was so comfortable and easy to get on and off. This strap is long and adjustable, the leather is a little stiff but breaks in ok, the tan color is really tan and not something else, the black one is really black, the underside of the leather is thick (it will take a LOT of wear), and is the same color as the top and is SMOOTH - no crumbs! and the pad is curved/sculpted and padded so it sits nicely on your shoulder. The vintage style is very comfortable and easy to take on and off, and reminds me of the old days when people used these things playing jazz or that new thing, rock and roll. With this strap I'm a small part of that time and those musicians.
