This Strat is one really nice guitar! My teacher says that it's a really good guitar and I agree with him!! The sound that it produces is so cool! If you don't have one of them, buy one!!!

Anyone who ever wanted a Fender Stratocaster in the UK during the 60's would have chosen the Fiesta Red, maple neck tremolo model. The import ban almost made it impossible to get one unless you were able to order direct from the Fender factory and not many people in the UK new of that!Today the Mexican 50's Stratocaster has all the features of this early made guitar and they are brilliant. I bought mine from the music store without even trying it as it looked the business and I could see that it was very well made and looked ready to go in fact it required no adjustment to play it immediately, it's perfect!I've now had a chance to play it at home and it has all those characteristic Fender sounds that we love to hear in a Stratocaster from the staggered alnico pick ups. The five way switch ensures we get perfect pick up combinations with those unique sounds emanating from the use of two pick ups together. The tremolo floats well and is a joy to handle again no adjustments required here either. The one piece 21 fret maple neck with the vintage look and correct headstock logo for the period lets you know you have an excellent replica of Leo Fender's masterpiece. I can't fault this instrument and there's more in store. Fender have got it right even down to the embossed Fender stamped bridge saddles and aged look parts and Kluson style vintage tuners. What more do you require from a Stratocaster? The finish is a lovely shade of Fiesta red and highly polished. The headstock has the single string tree keeping the vintage look about it and even the truss rod neck skunk stripe is there. The soft V neck makes playing very comfortable. I looked at this guitar hanging on the shop wall and took it to the sales counter immediately! Check out the Fiesta red model yourself, you won't be disappointed as it could easily cost a lot more. It's a pro guitar at an affordable price. I am thinking of buying another! A tweed case would complete the 50's look! I'd give this guitar 10 stars but 5 is your maximum!

My surf green 50's strat is my second guitar, my first electric, and I love it. I've been dying to get my hands on an electric. I just got this guitar a few weeks ago and I can't put it down. I love the color, great sound, great action, and it slides very nicely. I would recommended this amazing guitar to anyone.

The guy who said this guitar "frets out" your guitar needs to be set-up. I can make her sing all the way up to the last fret, she never "fretted out" on me. Just for kicks, I am going to play some Van Halen on it.

The 50's strat is one of the best Mexican-made strats around. I put a pearloid pickguard on it and it looks great and sounds great too.
