I got this amp for Xmas last year, and I've done tons of performing with it. This is louder than my church's sound system, and we have a state of the art system. The tone is great, and I can get better gain on this amp than a lot of pedals that I've used. This amp is worth every red cent you pay for! buy a frontman!

It is a good durable practice amp. At low volumes it has good definition and tone. Also, it is well featured with line in and out, headphone jack, distortion channel and reverb. Not bad for $140 bucks. However, to me this is not a gigging amp. It can get noisy with hiss/buzz and distorts at anything more than moderate volumes. Overall a good product.

I've been playing guitar for 18 years now, I've bought, sold and traded lots of expensive gear and I have finally settled on a perfect combination. My Squire Tele with just a lead pickup and this Fender 25R. My sound just jumps out at me now. Almost like it's been bottled up for so many years. This little monster barks bigger than the Marshall half-stack I used to play through. Recommended to everyone.

Great amp, much larger than the picture makes it out to be. The 10" speaker drives the sound perfectly but the distortion gets fuzzy around 5, making it hard to tell what you're playing. It has a great clean channel and you can't throw the volume past 4 or 5 without blowing out a window. Great amp for the low price but if you're working on something really heavy it may not be the practice amp for you, although it works fine with me.If you're not picky and on a tight budget, this is for you.

This is a good amp for a beginner, but a year or two down the line you'll want a better amp. You can't really play any gigs with it. If you're going to get a beginner's amp, I would suggest getting one of the small Fender hot rod tube amps instead, like the blues junior. The 25R has a lot of hissing.
