Soon after I purchased a PocketTones for the guitar, I brought it to a family party. When I got to the party, I found a group of friends all gathered around with a few guitars (as they usually do). I quickly whipped out the small guitar tuner and showed them how it works. They loved it. They told me they had all tried to tune their guitars together just a little before, but hadn't had much luck and didn't know if they were on key. With a press of a button, all guitarists could hear the tone and tune their guitars all at once. They all wanted to know where they could get one for themselves. The cool part about this tuner is that it is so small and easy to take with you wherever you go. Just put it on your key chain and you'll always be in tune.

I'm writing this review in the guitar pocket tones area because I didn't see the chromatic pocket tones.I have a guitar and a hammered dulcimer to tune and find the chromatic version of pocket tones to work perfectly.Regular tuners can't always respond accurately to the lower volume levels of my acoustic instruments. So I found the pocket tones tuner to be the perfect solution, it's accurate, easy to use, with my keys where I go and it's not expensive....very cool!!

I always love to see new ideas, especially when it comes to music and playing the guitar. Pocket Tones is an innovative idea that is practical to use and fun to have.

I just received this tuner today. The quality is quite nice and does just as promised. It's a bit on the quiet side if you plan on using it before a concert or a bigger session. For those who have used other tuners, you will notice right off the bat that it is not very versatile, like if you downtune the guitar often. All it does is just play the the standard tunings for the guitar or bass. That's all I bought it for. So if that's all you want in a tuner, this is a very useful piece of equipment that you will use often. It's very easy to use and can be put on your keyring with your keys or you can throw it in your case. I highly suggest that you have the ability to match similar tones to get the most out of this type of tuner.

This little tuner rocks! When the band practices, we just get around it and tune. It's wonderful!
