"Torgue Key. The best tool I ever bought!"

The evans torgue key is fantastic. I've always hated tuning my drums. It's always taken me a long time and a fair bit of frustration. This tool makes tuning a dream. Assuming your lugs are all in good condition (Which mine are. Mapex Pro Saturn Kit is fantastic) you just set the head and proceed tuning as usual with the key, excpet it stops turing at the desired tension. Everything even. Head and resonant side. I tuned my kit from scratch in minuets. FANTASTIC. It was so good i wanted to go out and tune all the drum kits in the world. Again and again. =)If lost I would buy two more so I would not be without one again. I recomend for any drummer. I've heard good stuff about the drum clock things but this is cheaper, smaller and less fragile. Perfect!

"innovative but not necessary"

This key is a good concept but in reality I don't think it's necessary. It's about $10 too much but I don't think it's a bad product or something that doesn't work because it does work to a certain extent but I still had to fine tune my snare drums by using it as a regular drum key. It's interesting and works fine but if you don't have the extra money, save your money or buy something else that's more necessary.

This product does exactly what it was designed to do. I've had it for a month and have tuned my 2 sets with it. It clicks when it is set where you want it and sounds even all over the head. I love it!
