I've had the privilege of using these heads for a quite a few years now. I've tried many other brands and they just do not hold up and preform the way the EQ3 set does. I've used them on various brands of drum kits (with 22" kick) in live performances, in the studio and at home. Nothing makes my kick sound as good as the EQ3 heads! They have a solid 'punch' and when you utilize the pad properly, it will dial in the tone you're looking for even more. I don't plan on ever using any other type of heads!
