Best bass drum sound right out of the box. Easy to tune, no sweet spot. Great response. Records great! The bomb! Literally! I have tried them all simply the best no comparison, you won't regret it.

This is the bass drum head we would have killed for as kids. EMAD bass drum is the best design ever! This coated single ply has more give and is still every bit as deep as the double ply clear one, the one best suited to you just depends on how hard you play. I just went from a clear to a coated and noticed some different pedal response (pedals sunk into head more) and handled a different range of playing, its much more sensitive for quieter playing. Patches are a must for these heads.

this head sounds sooooo good on my tama. slap on a danmar double patch and your set. the rings muffle perfectly so you don't need any stupid bass pillows. buy this you won't regret it
