I've had my Sheraton II for a little over a year and it's been everything I expected and so much more. The vintage sunburst finish is gorgeous and the gold hardware accents it very well. The action is adjustable so you can set it to your liking, I set mine very low and there is no rattling. The only cons to this guitar are the cheap pickup switch and the "e" logo on the pickguard came off, but I think the guitar looks even more beautiful without the pickguard, and you don't really need the pickguard with the archtop body shape. All in all this is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable archtop. The Sheraton has become my favorite guitar in my collection.

I've played the epi for the past 4 months and I think it plays just as well and often better than many of the US made gibsons, having owned a few Les Pauls (which are highly overrated and overpriced). I find this Korean made epi one of the most comfortable guitars I've had. It's solid and if the tuning machines and electronics are eventually upgraded I'll put it against any American made guitar. The serious player (who understands guitars)will agree.

This is one of the greatest looking guitars ever. I bought mine in natural and I can't stop looking at it. It has a wicked fast neck for solos. It plays all kinds of rock without feedback. As good as the real thing. I found nothing wrong with it. It is PERFECT!!!

The workmanship and detail to attention is the best that I have seen come out of the Korean factory where ALL of these guitars (regardless of brand) are built. Solid as a rock and sustain that goes on forever. Nice feel and comforatble to play. With a nice warm amp... it will even make YOU sound good!!!

Purchased my new Sheraton I in 1995. Have had no major problems with the pickup switch. The volume controls are scratchy at times but a spray of contact cleaner cleared that up. The gold plating is wearing off the pickups but this also happened to my Les Paul. Very easy to play with great action and neck feel. It plays and feels just as good as a Gibson 335 for 1/4 the price and looks better. The finish is holding up well after 10 years.

I love the sound of hollow/semi-hollowbodies and this was the guitar in my price range that I knew would have great tone. There is a bit of popping in the pickup selector, but it's not something that will constantly offend you. I have this plugged into a Vox AC30 and it's UNBELIEVABLE. As a rhythm player, I'm very happy with its tone and this guitar has proven to be excellent. Only thing I'd suggest is to have it plugged in to a decent amp, otherwise the full potential of this guitar won't be used.

I bought this guitar last week. Honestly, the best guitar I have ever played. I had the option of the ES-335, but turned it down for this guitar. The inlay work is incredible and the neck is like velvet. I took this to band practice and it didn't feed back once. I play first guitar and this is perfect for any sick lead lines and rhythm. You will not regret this.

I bought my Sheraton II from ww & bw about 5 years ago. I continually get compliments on the guitar's looks and sound. I play mine through a Fender DeVille tube amp for a warm, blusey sound. Action is smooth and responsive. Service from ww & bw was excellent.

Not the best thing I've ever played, but out of a series of no-name guitars that come out of a Korean factory and get stamped Epiphone, Fender Squier, or whatever high-end low quality guitar makes there are, this one is probably the best. The tone switches are terrible, they crackle and don't provide much of anything, and one of mine is out of line (lop-sided)... the pick-up selector is a joke... it snaps, crackles and pops when switching.... wouldn't take this one on stage unless I used 1 setting the whole time (don't switch pickups in the middle of a tune!) Other than that, the action is great.. plays like a bad ES-335 (which is still good) and it has a warm mellow tone with a good feel. I regret grabbing this instrument when i did, but you might not (I'm a serious musician). I'll probably upgrade to a 1/2 width hollowbody PRS or an aged Gibson ES-335 with a carved wooden bridge (get my techy to fit that out). Anyway, this instrument is ok but nothing too special and you do get what you pay for. 3/5 stars

I bought one in natural in 3-08. This piece is absolutely stunning. I really love the neck on this guitar. It's very comfortable and just feels right. Fit and finish are exremely well done. As good or better than its' more expensive brother. The frets are dressed well with no burrs to be found. The inlays are also nicely done with no noticeable filler material and they are absolutely beautiful. As for sound quality, I am running it through the clean of a Palomino V32H w/ matching 212 cab and a Digitech RP500. I can get just about any tone I want. This guitar stock and for the price is an extremely good instrument. I highly recommend it. But, just out of curiosity, I did MOD mine with 2 Gibson 57's, CTS pots, a switchcraft 3 way and jack plus orange drop caps. It definitely took it to a new level. Think Gibiphone. The stock electronics are very good with the only thing being suspect, at least on mine, would have to be the 3 way. It worked well, but was a little noisy when switching. The pots on mine were very responsive and didn't really need changed. Don't think you have to MOD this guitar because you don't. It's has a great sound as is. But it does lend itself to modifications very well and will truly give you terrific woody tones as well as many others. You can play just about any style of music you want with this guitar. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. This guitar is definitely a KEEPER. Give one a try, I think you'll be surprised.
