I've had my MM50 for two years. No problems. Unless you have the thousands for a Gibson, this is the one. Besides, Gibson now owns Epiphone.

Absolutely a solid sounding mandolin. This is the perfect mandolin for beginners and moderate pickers. The resonance is dead on and the action is amazing. Don't bother looking at other models, unless a Gibson F-5 or better is where you're going.

I bought my Epiphone MM50 mandolin about a year ago and have had absolutely no problems with it! It has a great sound. I have even had a few mandolin builders look at it and they were very impressed with its sound!

"Good Quality Mandolin for the price." by Tom M.

I bought one two years ago after looking around at a lot of the inexpensive mandolins. It played well, looked good, and sounded good. I am very happy with it. It has held up well, and sounds better than it did when I got it. I looked at some other brands that were more money, such as a Kentucky, and think that it is a better mandolin, or at least mine is than most in the price range. I put a Fishman pickup on it and I use it with my band.
