Several people that I know have them, including my son and two guys in my band. They get used a lot recording in the studio. They have such a variety of sound, and the best part is, they feel so "natural" in your hands while playing. I have several guitars including a 335, Rhoads, Warlock, vintage hollowbody, and a few more, but I end up grabbing the "Special" a lot.

This guitar is worth every dollar that you pay for it. I bought it in a emergency situation and I was impressed. It is surprisingly solid and consistent. Its a very good sounding instrument. I can take out very good tones from my amp. I recommend this guitar as a second guitar.

I bought my first Special while my 20th anniversary Les Paul Custom was getting fixed from a terrible accident. I just thought this would be a good guitar to practice on while I waited. I was wrong. This guitar turned out to be my favorite of the two. It's lighter and has a great tone. This is the guitar to buy, not because of the price but because it is a professional quality guitar.

This guitar is great. This was my first guitar and it can play everything. Its as good as my friends guitar that cost $200 more. A couple of problems:1. the frets buzz sometimes2. comes out of tune after a serious pounding (like every guitar)3. could have a better neckother than that its good.

I've been playing guitar for about a year and a half. This guitar is my second electric I've bought and I don't regret it! Its really a great guitar for its price plus you get that beautiful Les Paul quality. This is a great guitar.
