I have had this guitar since March of 2006. The Humbuckers give this guitar a pure Rock n Roll sound. The gold hardware makes it look much more expensive than it is. I have played mine in front of 200+ people and they dug it....The only problem is that it does'nt come w/a case. That cost it a star. The tone,resonation,action and versatility make this guitar hard to beat for the price. Epiphone produced a fine instrument...The case is a hardshell,plush lined beauty. A little on the heavy side,but you can't go w/o protection for your baby. I would reccomend this guitar to players who want something unique and want to Rock!!!!
This guitar is one of Epiphone's Best. Last year I bought a Epiphone Les Paul Custom, which is another great Epiphone guitar. But i wanted something more Heavy. I love the Explorer. It has great sound, real trusting and sustained pick-ups, and a great look! 10 out of 10
