This is a great deal on a hardshell flying V case. My Gibson faded flying V only came with a gig bag(not as much protection as I'd like), so this Epiphone V case was an excellent choice. It fits my Gibby like a glove and costs A LOT less than the Gibson flying V case. If you have a V, or any other set neck guitar, get it a good hard case. I've seen too many set neck guitars get severely damaged in gig bags.
I bought this case for a vintage 1967 flying V, and the case is perfect. Other sites have the shaped case on the images, but if you read the reviews, they send large, rectangular cases instead. This site had the best deal, and the case that arrived was the same as the picture. Although I am not a musician, I bought this and the guitar as a present for my boyfriend who is a serious musician. I would highly recommend this case for flying Vs. The points do fit a bit tightly, but there is enough room to not worry about damage. Also, there is enough storage in the case,
