I was surprised to find out that this is a Custom Shop Limited Edition, so right away, I knew I had to have one for my collection. When I got this baby home, I noticed that it wouldn't stay in tune and that was only due to the fact that the intonation and set up were not done properly, contrary to what the sticker on the back of the headstock said. I've been playing for over 36 years, so I do know how to do setups and once I staightened everything out, I was in awe at just how well this guitar stays in tune and at how much punch and sustain these stock Alnico open coil humbuckers put out. I am at heart, a Fender Strat guy, but to be honest ever since I got this guitar, I just can't put it down. It's just that good. I do suggest however if you are going to get one, that you do have a proper setup done with it. trust me, you won't regret it. I also went and bought a Epiphone HSC to protect my new investment because this lil' darling is a keeper and isn't going anywhere!

2008 Epiphone LP studio. I like this guitar more and more, yes, its an Epi., but for the dollar, my much more expensive American Fenders & LP, are really no better for just jammin! and its lighter. Great action, Alpine White is WHITE! you either like it or not. Grovers, all in all, for the money, I find this guitar hard to beat!! Clean to Heavy, impressive. I play through either (depending on type of music) a Fender Super or a Randall half stack(ss). If you just want a real good LP guitar and are not hung up on big names or American products, Buy one of these
