Awesome bass. Definitely the right choice for all beginners like me.
The EB-0 Bass is a fine product and is well made. The fact that you can pay under $ 250.00 for a quality bass 100% mahogany construction is incredible! In another review the writer felt that the bass would cost in excess of $ 1000.00 if made in the USA! I will tell you that the guitar is flawless that I received and looks like it cost $ 1000.00! The labor rate in the Far East is worth anywhere from $ 350.00 to $ 500.00 first cost for guitar construction, therefor the EB-0 if made in the USA would have run about $ 1200.00 to $ 1400.00 if normal margins are used! A great guitar it has a super aggressive growl and has a very fast neck. I also own a Fender Jazz Bass and a Precision and the EB-0 is very responsive to playing and I use it for blues rock and rock.
I like the Split piezo pickup and it's a good beginner bass.
For the price, a pretty good peice of hardware and handles nicely on the bends.
I like the EB-0, I bought it about a year ago and it has been good to me. The one problem I have is that it is head heavy. I don't really want to hold the neck up that much while playing as I am sometimes trying to hit the right strings.
