I have had the instrument just over a month. It is well constructed, very playable and looks great. It has a clear, round, warm tone. It seems to stay in tune very well, no matter your playing style. Much better than one might expect for the price.
I have had my Engelhardt for about 3 weeks and truly grown to love it. I initially planned on a Chinese built to save $, but decided I'd rather invest in a quality USA built piece that will never be worth less than I paid for it.
