Purchased this speaker to replace a collapsed floor monitor speaker cone. I have 2 15" Carvin TCS floor monitors (one still working, the other toasted). I put the replaced one on one channel, the original on the other channel of a QSC PLX 3602. By panning from one to the other the difference is obvious. The new one is so much warmer sounding and the original sounds like a telephone line in comparison. I'm going to replace all the 15's in my system with these and use the old ones for emergency spares. I give 4 out of 5 stars only because I do not yet know how this driver will hold up under extreme use in our hard rock band over time. It held up on the first gig after replacement and sounded fantastic. If it still works the next time we gig, then it earns 5 stars and I would expect it to work well for years.
