NEW - "excellent reverb"

This is a great pedal. works best in the effects loop instead of the input. if used in the input of your amp its overwhelming at louder amp volumes. but in the loop its just right. its true bypass so it doesnt color the sound at all. the spring setting is the best over all mode. the hall mode is a little hard to make subtle but if you do high gain leads on it in hall mode it sounds very Yngwie. I dont really use the flerb mode but i guess its good to have another texture at your disposal. sounds kinda pink floyd-ish. I love the simple design. plug in, pick your mode, dial in the amount and go. one switch and one knob is the best!

This reverb is heaven. All three modes sound great. The only downside is the AC/DC adaptor. Save yourself the aggravation, throw it out yourself. Mine lasted 2 hours.

I got this pedal last year-hoping to get some kind of surf-like sounds out of my MIM Strat and Fender 212R solid-state amp. Well,it does the job-it is almost as good as a Tank Reverb unit! I usually use the ''spring'' setting with the reverb turned up fairly high, and my Strat sounds like Dick Dale's Beast. The''Hall''setting is good for dreamy ballads and mellow stuff, while the''Flerb'' is just, well, weird. I don't use it much, but it is good for hippy-trippy effects. Buy this if you can't afford a Tank Reverb unit-it will suffice admirably. It works really well on 12-string guitars, too, on a clean channel. You gonna like it!

Awesome, some of the best reverbs I've ever heard. Spring sounds so real you'll feel like you could kick the pedal and hear the spring bounce. Hall is truly divine, especially when you turn the knob all the way up, you'll sound like your sitting in clouds. Flerb is really different, kind of a weird haunting sound, kind of hard to describe but totally cool, you've really got to hear it. All in all I love it. I've had mine for a year now and I'd never get rid of it. I hope the thing last forever.

I've owned the Holy Grail pedal for over two years and finally must set the record straight: I always thought it was just another reverb pedal but little did I know that it really depends on the amp to reproduce its sweet sounds. Of the three modes Spring Reverb, Hall and Flerb, I really only use the first two. Hooked up to a new 59 Fender Bassman, I hear the full glory of the Holy Grail for the first time: clean, pristine, delicate spring and hall reverbs, just right for country twang, rockabilly and surf music. This pedal has a huge frequency range, surprisingly hi-fi to say the least. It's my favorite reverb pedal, and built like a (lightweight) tank. Thank you Electro-Harmonix!, this is the ideal addition to my favorite amp.
