A friend of mine won an exact replica of Edwards red, white and black stripped "Frankenstein" guitar from KLOS radio in Los Angeles that I became very familar with. It had this same custom wound pickup by Edward. The guitar sounded outstanding through an amp. Nice mid's /without too much high and lows. Ed definately got this one right. This is the best pickup I've ever owned, and I've played for 29 years. I highly recommend these Eddie custom pickups to anyone serious about a great guitar tone. Also, only 500 are available with Edwards signature which makes these a collectors item for investment. If your after that highly sought after "Brown Sound" or just want a really good pickup this is it. All others are just copies of this one. This is the real thing baby!
