Great Guitar for the price, when I received it, it was unplayable. The String height was set to 1" off the fingerboard, but after reading the included "instruction manual" I learned how to set the strings to a comfortable level. Since doing that I have a hard time putting it down. Takes some patience to mess with the floyd rose, get plenty of packs of strings because you will go through a few high E strings. Its awesome once its setup.

When i first recieved this guitar, it took me about an hour and a half to make it playable. It was very challenging to get the strings to a comfortable action and get the guitar in tune. It takes a while to get used to the double locking tremelo with the floyd rose. When you tune the guitar, sometimes the floyd rose rises and you have to adjust the spring tension in the back of the guitar. When the spring tension is ok, its hard to get the guitar in tune because you have to tighten the nut at the top of the neck to lock in the tuning. when you do, this slightly raises the tuning of all of the strings. The pickups are a kind of a letdown as well. its hard to get pinched harmonics with these pickups and when you palm mute, it doesnt have a very agressive sound. I would save up and buy the nicer KH version or buy new pickups, like the EMG 81, when you buy this guitar.

I have an older version of this guitar, but its basically the same. It plays and feels great, though it plays better with distortion than clean. BTW YOU CANT PUT ACTIVE PICKUPS IN A PASSIVE PICKUP STOCK GUITAR. You will not have enough room for all the electronics. But overall a good guitar.
