This is the best guitar I have ever played. We found that the use of the locking tuners to be somewhat of a problem when you tune from standard to a drop tuning so here is what we did. We tuned the guitar in (E) standard with the fine tuning keys that are at the bridge, all of the way raised. When you want to drop tune then you can just twist the fine tuning key all of the way down.

This guitar is great! The Floyd Rose isn't as hard as everyone says it is to work. I like the feel, sounds great. The EMG's sound good with any kind of metal/punk. Good guitar for an amateur or even a pro!!!!!!

This guitar kicks butt and takes names! It was perfectly in tune out of the box and stayed that way for a long time. This is one of the most reliable guitars there is. Tuning is a little hard, but stays for a long time. The EMG pickups are sick (in a good way)! I lowered the neck pickup and raised the bridge pickup. The pickups can deliver a very clean tone or a distorted tone depending on how far they are from the strings. The guitar was in perfect condition out of the box...no scratches or dents. This guitar is perfect for anyone who plays rock, especially anyone who plays metal/punk
