I use this to control Native Instruments B4 and GForce MTron (mellotron) at live shows. It sits on some velcro on top of my Wurlitzer 200A electric piano. When I got it i was just looking for an inexpensive controller with some knobs and as such it doesn't disappoint. It seems kinda flimsy and toy-like, but I've put it through some rough transportation situations over the last 3 years and it's still in tip top shape. After touch is nice. Action is a little springy, like a cheap synth, but i've felt much worse at higher pricepoints. I find that I would like faders and/or buttons, but again, at this price, I've got no real complaints. Utilitarian and gets the job done. For a studio, i would recommend spending a little more and getting something a little more solid with maybe more control options.
