I had researched the features that would I need before picking this unit. I needed a USB unit for my laptop for my microphone, guitar, bass and MIDI keyboard. This unit does it, plus the software bundle is great. I can record along with tracks that were previously recorded, and I sound like a whole band. I have had the Em-u so far for about a week, and so far, so pleased! VERY VERY happy with it, does everything it is supposed to. let me save you some time. USE THE GROUND LIFT SWITCH, it is on the bottom, trust me it is there, it is very small, but look, it is worth it.. before you return it for the buzzing noise.. turn the ground lift on.. because that made me so mad for the first few days, but after you turn it on, it works GREAT!
